1. How to find the qualification submission portal and specific requirements?

Individual modules will be provided for each category with qualification requirements, and each field will have detailed reminders and notes. 2. What types of qualifications are accepted and what are the differences?
A: Qualifications can be divided into two main categories: text qualifications and image qualifications. Text qualifications (such as certificate number): After you enter the qualifications, they will be verified in real time. If the format is incorrect or the text qualifications cannot be validated in the database, an error will be reported after you click "Submit". Image qualifications: After you upload the image qualification, it will go through a background review that will be completed in T+3 days at the latest. The products that have passed the image qualification review will be highlighted with a special icon on the product page (This function is still in development. Each qualification will be assigned a different icon.) For the time being, if a product fails the image qualification review, it will not be removed and the seller will not receive any notification.
3. Will it affect my business if the qualification is not entered, submitted or approved?
A: The requirements for each category vary based on its risk severity. Sellers may come across four situations: mandatory for the whole category, mandatory for certain products (such as domestic products), non-mandatory but restricted by the target countries, non-mandatory but encouraged with platform support incentives. For more details, please refer to the relevant rules and announcements of each category.
4. Where can I check and modify the qualification auditing status and the reason of disapproval?

5. What should I do if I submitted a valid domestic certificate number, but it shows "Submission failed"?
A: First of all, please confirm that the format of the certificate number you entered is correct and the certificate is within its validity period. If the above does not apply to your case, it is because the database for verification is not synchronized with the latest national data. Please submit the new certificate number through Seller Center - Qualifications Management (or directly through the guide of reporting an error):
After the new certificate number is submitted as required, you will receive a review result within T+3 days. The product can be successfully released after the new certificate number is approved. To check the review status of the new certificate number, click Seller Center > Product > Qualification Center.
6. Common qualification requirements for products exported to Europe
Since the Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 2019 on market surveillance and compliance of products (known as MSR) became effective in July 2021, there has been mounting regulatory pressure on trade with European customers. AliExpress has offered some entry points for submitting CE qualifications and product labels for many of the relevant categories.
In general, common qualification types are described as follows:
1） Product packaging labels
A label is required to contain at least the product information, names and addresses of the manufacturer and responsible person*, and CE logo (We recommend that you submit the English version. If additional requirements, such as warnings, are set out for some categories, these categories are subject to local regulations in the EU.). Several images can be combined into one image for uploading (For example, if some information is displayed in packaging materials and some information is displayed in the label, you can combine the corresponding images into one image.).
* The responsible person can be a manufacturer, importer, authorized representative, or fulfillment service provider in the EU.
2）Common materials collected by AliExpress for compliance with the EU's requirements for CE-marked products
Currently, the following main types of materials are used: Certificates of Conformity (CoC), Declarations of Conformity (DoC), and Declarations of Performance (DoP).
CoC apply to most industries (such as toys and electronic products), but must be issued by notified bodies. Now, only a few industries (such as II/III medical devices and PPE) are required to provide CoC.
DoC apply to most other industries and can be issued by brand owners or manufacturers. Testing reports showing compliance with the EU's standards are required.
DoP are similar to DoC, but apply to only construction products that are subject to the EU's Construction Products Regulation.
