Announcement on Rectification of Selling Masks as Epidemic Prevention Products on AliExpress

Dear AliExpress sellers,

During the difficult times of the epidemic, the platform fully supports and guarantees the normal and compliant operation of the sellers. However, we have recently found that some sellers have seriously disrupted the market order by raising the price of epidemic prevention products, secretly offering masks and other epidemic prevention products as promotion gifts, exaggerating/falsely stating the standards and efficacy of epidemic prevention products, which seriously violates the platform rules and severely damages the interests of consumers and their shopping experiences. We would like to remind all sellers to operate legally and abide by the platform rules. Specifically,

·          Do not sell non-compliant medical/anti-virus products;

·          Do not offer free masks or other anti-virus equipment in promotions;

·          Do not sell epidemic prevention products or disturb the market order in an unfairly competitive manner, including but not limited to selling them at ultra-low or ultra-high prices.

The platform will start cracking down on violations soon. Sellers should check their products carefully lest any violation affects store operation and traffic and incurs penalties like point deduction and account freeze.
