Announcement on the Prohibition of the Sale of Some Products to Corresponding Countries

Dear AliExpress sellers,

AliExpress has been providing consumers with safe and quality goods, creating a good trading environment for its members, improving consumers' shopping experience and safeguarding the rights and interests of quality merchants.

According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, the European Commission's Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers, and the import and commodity quality standards of Canadian, Russian, Singaporean and Australian customs, the following products are prohibited from being sold to the countries listed below. AliExpress is committed to better protecting the interests of its members and avoiding losses caused by failed delivery (e.g. the shipments are held by the customs) to the following countries and regions due to legal reasons. If a seller sells the following products, the seller is recommended to change the corresponding shipping template immediately and exclude the corresponding countries from supported shipping countries in product settings. Publishing incorrect shipping information may have negative impact on the platform and the seller.

The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China has released safety requirements for children's hoodies. See the following attachment for more information. Sellers of children's hoodies are recommended to remove these products immediately. The platform will take down products that do not meet the national standards.

In the future, the platform will collect more national and industry-related quality and safety requirements and standards for sellers' reference. It is suggested that sellers pay attention to the logistics and import requirements of other countries to jointly create a safe and quality trading environment.
Note: The EU includes 28 countries, namely France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Finland, Austria, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria and Croatia.
